Guida al galateo per hobbit avventurosi

Cosa accadrà il 27 settembre in libreria? Oh beh, alcuni di voi lo sanno: uscirà The Casual Vacancy, il nuovo libro di J.K. Rowling. Harry Potter? No. Spin off di Harry Potter? No. Fantasy, comunque? Beh, no. The Casual Vacancy sembra la storia normale di una piccola cittadina britannica in cui qualcosa di inaspettato ma comunque ordinario giunge a svelare le ordinarie tensioni che si agitano al di sotto della maschera da idillio bucolico. Scelta coraggiosa? Grande cazzata? Non sono qui per parlarvi di questo: i bolgeri stanzieranno € 21,89 (€ 25,75 -15%) e manderanno in avanscoperta un bolgero lettore. Vi faremo sapere.
Vengo a voi invece per segnalarvi un altro libro, in uscita sempre il 27: un libercolo elettronico di Peter Archer (già autore di manuali di vita come 500 Foreign Words and Phrases You Should Know to Sound Smart oppure Quotable intellectual) e Scott Francis. Tutte le regole di galateo e non solo per il perfetto hobbit, da come apparecchiare la tavola a come imbastire una cena per ospiti inaspettati, da come nascondersi a come scappare, fino alle regole di galateo nel caso siate mai sfidati in una gara di indovinelli. Tutto ciò che uno hobbit deve sapere per avere successo nella vita, insomma. O quantomeno per non rimetterci il panciotto.
